Jordan leads Northgate and works closely with clients from the early planning stages through to delivery.

His background spans both commercial and residential construction, with over eight years in each delivering large, complex projects. That experience shapes how Northgate operates today, with a strong emphasis on planning, coordination, and setting projects up properly before work begins.

Jordan focuses on clear advice, realistic pricing, and careful planning so clients can make confident decisions early. He is known for being direct, considered, and highly involved, giving clients confidence that decisions are being made with long-term outcomes in mind.

Outside of work, Jordan values time with friends and family and staying active through regular training, bringing the same discipline, consistency, and focus into how Northgate operates.

Chris Harrison

Director

Chris leads construction delivery at Northgate and is hands-on throughout the build process.

He spent over 10 years running a custom residential building company in Sydney, delivering high-end homes and renovations and being deeply involved in every stage of the build. That experience gives Chris a practical, builder-led approach and a strong understanding of what it takes to deliver quality outcomes on site.

At Northgate, Chris oversees site operations while also being closely involved in estimating, early cost planning, and client discussions, helping ensure projects are practical, well considered, and buildable from day one. Clients value his calm leadership, attention to detail, and steady presence on site.

When he's not on site, Chris is usually out on the ocean or in the water, bringing that same calm, practical mindset and respect for the elements into every build.

Northgate Building Group is a Sydney and Newcastle residential builder run by licensed builders Jordan O'Driscoll and Chris Harrison, who bring close to four decades of combined experience across custom homes, renovations, knockdown rebuilds, and class 2 projects, with in-house design guidance throughout.

We're hands-on builders who run every project ourselves, from the first sketch right through to handover. You deal with us, the person who signs the contract delivers your project.

Between us we've spent close to forty years on site. We've built homes that perform, structures that stand up, and spaces that still look & feel-good years later. We've also seen what happens when communication breaks down, expectations aren't set and people feel left in the dark.

We keep it simple: clear scope, straight advice, honest pricing and quality workmanship done properly.
